Default Vaquero tips help please

Hey all I know some of you use a tesoro vaquero and I had some questions. I tried hunting supertuned tonight in an area that has been hit by everyone. I found just the normal coins and trash. When I had it supertuned it chirped when passing the ground like it was in all metal is this normal. I backed off a bit and jumped the disc up to the line past tab and still everytime I gotva faint signal it was a pull tab at 8" I air tested it would not beep only when the tab was in the ground. Finally when I dug the pull tab I dumped a quarter in the hole which was to the top of the handle on my lesch and I got no signal at all. I assume that it was just to deep. So any help and tips would be great thanks.

Ok ran her again tonight and have a new question dug 1.50 in an hour all coins were bout 3" deep. When I would pull out a coin and air test it a dime wouldnt read past 5". Is that because it wasnt GB'd to do an air test or am I just not getting good depth.

I had the same problem in a couple areas. It could be Electrical interference which causes big time depth reduction and the Vaq is pretty quiet around EMI. You should get 8-10 inches in supertune with max sens on a quarter in air.
