I had no intention of hunting today but as the temperature was over 40°C I decided on a late afternoon visit to coincide with the low tide.
The crowds had thinned out a bit when I arrived and targets were very sparse.
The first target was this sterling silver thing,it's not a pendant so I'm not sure what it is.
Later in the wet sand I found all these crosses in a 3m square area,I thought at first they were gold but after testing they are just plated.
Scored a few coins and then finally deep in the wet sand a feint whisper signal, five scoops later a wedding band stamped 750 weight 3 grams ... It's come up quite well after a soak in CLR & good polish on the dremel.
Looks like a good year ahead,
