Quick hunt this morning before work. I found a slope at one location and worked it slow. I was able to pull some junk rings that were broken as well as a broken ship spike, small lead, coins and a 21k Saudi earring.

Everything was found up high. Thanks for looking!

Does that count as "3 gold coins" ? JUST KIDDING ! I would never argue with gold though

Nice finds! Especially that Saudi gold!

21K? Odd number. Is that common in that area?

I brought a bunch back from over there and it was 22 and 24 k, but that was in 90-91. They had gold chains on spindles and would roll off whatever length you wanted. Just go from place to place and haggle over price, I think they gave us better prices because we were over there protecting them from Saddam. I brought back a bunch for my girlfriend (now wife)

I, too, love that buttery colored gold. Excellent find!

Did the same when working with the AWACs out of Tinker AFB and again with the 9th USAF in the early/mid 80's. Nice and low priced jewelry there for sure.

By the way, is that a Warthog in your picture? We had them at Suwon when I was with the 51st at Osan. Osan was primarily OV-10's, F-4's and U-2's, but Suwon had the A-10s.
