I was detecting the early morning low tides yesterday at this inlet I found with a history of duck hunting, very convenient from my parents house. I was digging some old stuff, a pre-remington, union metallic cartridge company 12 gauge head stamp and then this walker was 5 iches down under a heavy cluster of baseball sized rocks. It was a 12-44 on the ctx, it is paper thin. This is my 3rd silver half from this little beach area and maybe 8th or 9th silver coin.

Congrats on the big silver! Was that a "cookie" coin? (encrusted in flaky corrosion)

Not this one for some reason, it was probably in tumbler like conditions for 100 years. It is paper thin like 1/4 of the diameter of an actually half dollar. It was among the rocks and coarse sand, fairly shallow. The other 1943 walker I found at this site was like a foot down in black sand, much more details and in a black crust.
