My partner and I hunted the old fairgrounds that closed in 1916 again today and the finds were slim. We didn't mow any more territory to hunt today but rather just finished hunting the grids that we had already mowed (the site is now a large pasture field). I did manage to find a 1907 IH and a fired round ball which I believe was a .54 caliber (some of you round ball experts can help me out). My partner also found a .36 caliber round ball, making four round balls from this site.
