Found this 1892s Quarter at a trashy cellar hole. Along with it was a 1894 "V" nickel.

Nice going on the silver. That barber is in really nice shape. I would hit the site again as there are probably more goodies to be had.

:wow: :wow: :wow:

WAY TO GO! That's the nicest dug Barber I believe I've seen. She wasn't in circulation very long that's for sure. Hope you find the rest of them ;).

Way to go! That's in fantastic shape too! My Redbook says that 964,079 of these beauties were minted with the "G-4 Good" valued at $20, and goes up to $900. All depends on the condition of the word "Liberty" and the ribbon. Any one else concur?

In contrast, the 1896s, with a minting of only 188,039 has a value of G-4 at $500 up to $8000!!!!!! All the other years, in the 1800's anyway, in G-4 are only around $5-$8. The one to find would be the 1901s with a minting of only 72,664. Even at G-4, which is the lowest condition, it's valued at $4000 all the way up to an astonishing $35,000!!! Holy Cow!

I would send that off and get it graded and slabbed for sure and store it with your valuables.
