I added a handle on the side, because I was finding myself actually pushing down on the top of the blade with my left hand when I was digging into this tough valley clay. I was also getting a callous in the palm of my right hand, so I used a hole saw to cut a hole into a racquetball and slid it over the grip. This trowel is comfortable and flat out digs. I put a new edge on it every few weeks.

I like the added handle. I've wished my Lesche had something like that before. I find myself two hand pushing a lot. Great job!
 
Very nice digger..and if your ever in a bad neighbor hood that digger would make someone think twice about bothering you..:lol:
