So every few days you withdraw $1,000 from a supplier bank and they give you $1,000 of half dollars?
Then you take them to the same bank a put them in a coin machine at a dump bank?
Man, I am surprised that the banks do not get mad or think you are laundering money or something. If you are a regular customer or a significant customer, they will probably do anything you want them to.
15 years ago I was basically a bookkeeper and assistant to the operations officer for a division of a regional bank here and knew a lot of the branch managers, tellers, etc at the 15-20 branches in the city. One or two might have let me visit on a Saturday (they used to be open on Sat) and go through all the halves. I am sure something like that is happening at all the banks here now. I never find anything. Now I don't know any them.
15 years ago you could have sat at a Mississippi casino and gone through halves at the 50 cent slots all day too.
