Default 1804 drapped bust half cent

ilive in CT so the ground has been frozen but the last few days have been warmer so i went to this hay field i have permission to detect today was windy and cold 33 been bored sitting in the house so took a short ride to check the field i could get shovel in the ground somewhat so i gave it a try and pulled this beauty out of a area i have found colonial coppers in, just last year with my e-trac didnt detect long this all i dug worth showing ( THIS IS FOR YOU TOM IN-CA )NO i didnt borrow it either H.H. guys found it with my nox 800 24 VDI reading if anyone was curious

best finds to date - 1821 capped bust dime ,1853 seated quarter, (2) 1891 seated dimes, 1874 seated dime, 1887 seated dime love token , 1777 half reale ,1805 drapped bust largie, 1914 barber half dollar,1812 classic head largie, 1864 2 cent piece,(1909 barber half dollar with a 1934 walker half dollar in the same hole together)1952 ben franklin half dollar

Awesome find! I've found at least 20 large cents, but never found a half cent in six years of detecting. Not a common coin to dig, even here in New England.

I've found over 100 coppers of all types, only 2 half cents in that bunch. My last one was an 1824, in about he same shape as yours, which, for a dug coin, i think is in pretty good condition.

I am going to find out which Park Tom hunts, fly out and seed it with coppers.
