Finally found one.
This state started giving these out about 1915 and used the same design every year up until 1921.
In 1922 they changed the shape and started to add in the years.
Mine is pretty crusty, but it's the only one I've found. It's hard to tell in the photo, but it is from Missouri 1919.
I have not tried that. I basically just brushed it off enough to figure out what it was and read the date. It would be cool to find a database where I could figure out who it belonged to, I live in a small town and there might still be relatives around.Nice! Have you tried soaking it in lemon juice then rubbing with baking soda?
