Went to a nearby town and hunted near a river where there is a swimming hole. I managed to find some clad, a 1948 Wheat Cent, and a 1960 silver Canadian 10 cent coin. This was the first wheatie and silver coin that I have found since I started using the Fisher F70. The best part of this place I detected is that it is a large area and I barely hunted any of it. Will be going back there soon!!!

Heck yea! Congrats on the silver and the rest!

Congrats on the first silver of the season and the rest of the digs...nice hunt!

Looks like you have some work cut out for you hunting the rest of that spot. Congrats on the finds.

Thanks, I definitely have my work cut out for me with this permission but I am getting more acquainted with the F70 every time I use it. It's a great machine and hopefully I can find some more good finds.

That dime was a long ways from home. Nice recovery!

This must be the year for foreign coins for me. I have already found 3 this year, one from Great Britain, one from Russia and this one from Canada. I'll take them though especially silver ones !!!

Another Bluenose dime from my parts of the world. Good hunt.
Even up here they are still a little hard to find.

Bluenose
The most famous ship in Canadian history, the Bluenose was both a fishing and racing vessel in the 1920s and 1930s. The Nova Scotia schooner achieved immortality when its image was engraved onto the Canadian dime.

Thanks for the information !!! It is a beautiful coin even though my photos didn't show it off much.
