The men's hobbies with women rolling eyes and the cacti collection comments may be the most funny thing I've heard in ages.

And true.

The GF and I watched episode 6 together, and I got a lot of looks, from the club meetings through to that end conversation. Whoever is doing the writing is spot on!

Good Point... You could watch the DVD's on your computer to bypass the region code, but I would rather wait for a US edition...

Your computer reader still uses DVD region codes. Mine can only be switched a few times, so you should check your software before hand.

As said, detectorists in the UK were a little cautious when they first heard
about the series being made, and the NCMD who like to think of themselves
as the UK voice of metal detecting, wouldn't get involved.

I think they made a big mistake, as generally the series has been very well
received by those in the hobby.

Can't wait until series two. !!

I know the second season was approved, but there hasn't been word on when it would be released. I would look for the same time frame as last year, which I think was about November.
