Default If you're gonna find a saw medallion..

May as well find an old one.

From Schaffer's book on British Saws the dates for this company
"S. Biggin & Sons" 1852-1856

Also thimble and brooch missing the pin (I think) missing some sort of attachment on the back anyway.

Wow that's an old one! I like finding them but I think the few I found are much newer. Very cool!

Very cool. My dad was big into those. He never detected but we came from a long line of carpenters so every saw that wasn't worth saving he'd salvage those pieces. Very cool one you have there.

Great medallion. And in nice shape. I've only found two but one was 1870's in age. Yours is a dandy. Congrats.

Cool saw medallion! I've only found one - has an eagle on it. First thought I had a CSA droop wing button, lol
