About two weeks ago i found out that there is actually a Garrett dealer in my town here, Merida. I talked with his daughter who said he was sick and they'd get back to me with a price for a Garrett sea hunter II which i was considering maybe buying local. (I ended up getting a sweet deal for one off craigslist)
Anyway, the daughter called back today and says that I can come in and talk about the detector, I asked for a price and she gave it to me:
22,000 pesos! That's over 1700 US . I had to laugh....
