Could this be a script infantry confederate button. It's two piece and smaller than a penny. Thank you!

This location is about 11 miles from a major battle. I know this is a hard question to answer, but could this be a sign of a camp possible.
 
Wow! That's a tough cuff button to find for sure. You don't see those everyday. Nice! It's hard to say that it could be a camp from one button. But I would hit it hard.
 
Gonna hit it hard Tuesday. I plan on switching from the dd eclipse coil to the 950 coil in a grid pattern. Hope to have more to show. Merry Christmas!
