quick 2 hr hunt yields

Some pretty old coins for a So Ca Beach.I was fighting time/sunset and didn't want to hunt in this area after dark. Right when the sun started dropping I found a sweet spot and couldn't dig fast enough. Lot's of trash but the oldies had me manic. I turned off all my discrims off and dug everything that hit. Resulting in throwing my back out for a few days (literally)... The price we pay.....

No gold this time but I'M POSITIVE it's out there.... Be back soon I hope.

But sucks to know the spot might be sanded back up by the next day and you're running out of light. Looks like you did really well with the time you had. :yes:

Yeah, I planned to hunt it for 4 hrs. It's 100 miles from my house and I didn't mind the drive since it's nice to get to a different hunting spot esp a new one. Half way there I looked at Google Nav and there was a 1 hr back up due to an accident. Took me 3 hrs to go 100 miles. That ate half my hunt. Then when I got nearly through the traffic it updated and gave me another 30 minute delay. WTH?

I was short changed on time but got some good change in return. I would of been happy with even one oldie. I can't get out there again until next Monday but I've already con'ed my fiancé to let me go since I polished all of her silvers at home :laughing:

It was a spur of the moment, but I'll take you up on that offer Sunday if you're available. Worst part of being so far away is that my trucks a diesel and right now diesel is through the roof. Oh and I was in a pinch so I took the toll to the 73.. GRRR
