I continue to hit the old farm houses. In the last two days I've got permissions on two more. It will take me all summer to work the five I have permissions on but there is one more that I am going to try on.
This evening after work I went next door to the little old farm house that I have been hunting. I have found a few wheats and some pretty interesting junk. I had just one hour if I could get changed and off to the meeting I had scheduled. I hunted with no discrimination to try to find some nickels. I found a whole new class of junk. I found 4 1/2 ft of chain, some linkage chain from old farm machinery-- I am guessing from an old manure spreader, an old glass fuse, a CO2 cartridge from an air gun, etc. then I looked at my watch I realized I had to hurry and get to my meeting. I left my F2 on as I crossed the lawn and hit a good signal. I of course decided I could dig this last one. It was a 1924 dime-only my second silver.
