1992 Silver dollar

I have a few of real ones, and the piece in question looks like the ones I have. In my opinion its a fantastic find, even more rare than a morgan dollar to find. I bet its real, but if it turns out it isn't, thats just another layer to a great story.

I bet it is good, and a kid lost it out of his pocket. Only way to know is to weigh and measure 31.1 grams; 1.598 inches dia. (40.60 mm) ; 0.117 in. thick. (2.98 mm.) If those all match up, it's silver, and genuine. The design layout appears correct. Hope this is some help.

From a quick look, the letters on the reverse (shield side) look to have too many tails, the original doesn't. Is that an extra bit of metal below the C in AMERICA? If it is it shouldn't be there. Finally, the 2 in the date looks a bit crooked.

One of these things is not like the other...

here is a image of the reverse of the 1991 eagle.
The fine details, type face, spacing should match exactly.
I think this photo is clear enough so that you can compare the fine detail

Added information: IF this coin truly shows a 40's-50's reading on a Makro machine in an air test, it must not be silver. A silver coin of this size would give a reading in the 90's.
