Yeah, I know.....I just didn't feel like cutting the plug off my stock headphones because they are still "waterproof" as long as I don't get the headphones wet. Which means if I had cut the plug to use then the new connection wouldn't be waterproof, atleast I can still go in waist deep with the stock.

I felt the same way and got the adapter, too. For if/when I use in water, as long as I can keep from dunking my head the stock ones will be waterproof enough for my purposes.
