NO Silver this week.....,:mad::mad:

KT is not a real happy camper this week due to the real lack of interesting coins to add to the Royal Treasure Box.

Only two boxes are worth mentioning and not due to any silver recovered...Box 2 had 2 2012 NIFCs, pretty ones, to add to the roll, now only about 3 away from completion, and Box 3 gave up a nice Proof, tho it was clad.

It rained all day on the Castle today, making not only the hunt a bit gloomy but the entire day not so great....but KT did get to rip 50 boxes and added a few coins to the Royal collection.

The single pic came out pretty nice tho with only minor adjustments. Hope you enjoy it! :D:D Hope everyone's luck turns more to the silver side this coming week!

Keep the royal chin up, KT. Soon you will make up for it with a mighty silver horde to add to the royal vault.

LOL, Junkminer! You are a refreshing breath of optimism in ol' KingTotsalot's time of trouble!

When KT visited His Royal Dump Bank this morning, He met a homeless veteran and had a pleasant 10 minute talk with him after KT left the bank. KT was moved by his optimism and positive attitude even tho he is living in the nearby woods in a tarp shelter. KT did ask if he was receiving vet's benefits and health care...fortunately he is, but his car broke down awhile back and he lost his job because he could not get to work on time....then no job so no apartment. He was not looking for charity but KT gave him some money. When KT asked if he had a belt knife and all he had was a razorblade type boxcutter, KT decided that His Majesty did not need His Royal Sharpfinger, and the look on this vet's face was priceless, disbelief and gratitude. KT had had that knife for over 50 years, and now it is in the hands of a man who has real need of it! KT then drove a couple of blocks to WalMart and purchased a 5 buck flip folder as a replacement.

So KT learned not to be pessimistic by you and that vet, things could be a lot worse!

Tomorrow is fleamarket day, so KT will take it in and see what He might turn up!:cool3::cool3:

Thanks it for sharing your story about helping someone in heir time of need. This is a lesson we can all pay attention to. Better luck next week with a hopeful return to silver. ( maybe a little less rain too lol )

Thank you, jkbemdavis! KT is always hopeful for the next CRH! The fleamarket was a good one today, but KT did not purchase any silver coins this week, as that will be a once a month activity, altho KT was in need of a claw hammer and purchased a Stanley antivib model, somewhat rusty, for $3. His Majesty looked on line and found this same hammer listing from $27.99 to almost $80, so after a bit of wirewheel clean up and a coat of light oil, it will work as well as a new one! KT did have to regrind the head flat and regrind a bevel so it will not spall, but even the Queen was impressed at how good it looks now ! Ha ha.:D
