What is it?

Hello everyone! New to the hobby and looking forward to all of the great information here. The boss (Wife) and I just started metal detecting. Something we can do together. We have been working over my father in law's yard (over a hundred year old home) and have found a lot of interesting stuff. Mostly nails, clad and coin slaw, but a couple of other things as well. Tonight we found an eagle that looks like it was part of a medal or pendant. Not sure what it is maybe someone here can help

Sorry to say I believe it's cheap jewelry from the 70's -----and proud to say it was my very first man chain I had when I was 10, that the reason I was killing it with the ladies! Nothing beats that Windsor collar, and shirt unbuttoned halfway down the chest.
