Found some junk jewelry and a couple hundred pulltabs. Just don't believe there is any gold in that field. Did managed to find 4 silver coins 1918d,1963,1937 and a1943p nickel. Also found 2 v nickels 1907 and two Buffalo a 1930 the other one no date. Found a cool token which says property of hills basketball vendor and loaned for amusement only. The ring with the The swastika Is probably from the 20s or 30s. In the Western world it was a symbol of auspiciousness and good luck until the 1930s.

Silvers, Buffs and V's!??? Man Bergie! You were working that dirt! Yeah..if theres gold there at all, you would be finding it!

I would have to say, based on your display of finds...there's a VERY good chance there's gold in there. Keep at it, it will show up when you least expect it. Congrats and happy hunting!

Most of the finds are are around 6 to 8 inches deep on the average. Pulltabs have all been the older style figured I would have some gold by now. I have only pulled two pieces of silver jewelry from there. Been mostly working the football field upper end used to be a smoking tree there the wife says. Back in the day they had no bleachers a round the field. What is interesting is most finds are in the middle and upper end of the football field itself. Do not seem to be finding too many coins a round where the people might have stood. Now this place has been metal detected to death in its day but I am more persistent than they were i think.
Very nice finds. I like that FFA pin too. Don't think it is silver. I had one many years ago.

Thanks took me forever to locate that thing. I had one years ago it was not silver neither
