i am buying my first detector this week and had some questions about it it seems like a good deal would like to chat with someone that is very knowledgeable about the tesoro's i am working on a deal to purchase an eldorado the original style any info would be helpfull

I own and use all 6 of my Tesoros including a Eldorado. My Eldorado is the micromax version, not sure which yours is. I find it as stable as my Vaquero and run almost as deep. I usually hunt with it where it just breaks up on a nail and dig it all. At 10khz it loves coins. Excellent all around detector and like all Tesoros is fun to use.

All Tesoro's

I can tell you this much, after 40 years in the relic hunting hobby it is my opinion that Tesoro has the best discrimination circuitry in the industry. Very fast response on good targets in iron and depth is very good. I dig Civil War .58 Cal bullets 10 to 12 inches with a Cibola in my ground which has low minerals.
