I have dug my 2nd one of these coins and I cannot seem to find out what they are exactly. They look Chinese but I cannot locate any date info or face value on it. I am sure that it is a common coin of little value, but would like to know more about it if at all possible.

I read that the 1986 10 yen coin could be worth some serious bucks but I don't have a clue how to date it.
 
The coin, as stated, is a 10 yen coin from Japan.

The top picture says:

Top portion - Nihon Kokuen = The country of Japan
Bottom portion - Ju en = 10 yen

Bottom picture - showa go ju haachi = year of showa 58 = 1983
