Hi folks!
Went out today to another nearby park that I've avoided due to tales of being "hunted out". I don't know when I'll learn my lesson. There's always something left for me. Anyway after a couple hours or so of nada but clad, I was thinking, "yup, nuthin here." Then I got yet another clad quarter signal and dug a 4" plug. Nothing in the hole, but yup - there's the quarter ringing out in the plug. NOT a clad quarter. I rub some dirt off of the plug and see this.

Weighs in at a solid 12.2 grams. Same as a silver half.

Ugh. So frustrating only being able to post one photo at a time on this dang phone. Sorry. I also found this nice barber dime. 1907. Not much else, but it looks like I found myself another park with some potential. Thanks for looking and HH, everyone!

"Hayward Sterling" is inscribed on the back of the St. Christopher pendant. I think it's relatively old, but not very. Looks like someone wore it quite a while.
