So it turns out I was able to put some time in hunting the grounds at my girlfriend's father's country house. With only two days to hunt 80 acres, I had to pick my spots. I'm pretty happy with the results.
And yes, I'm not in Kansas anymore (actually, the east coast).
The big hammered piece is a jetton (or jeton, en Francais), circa 14th - 15th century.
I don't know if the small hammered is medieval or Roman. I hope to clean it up a bit more and figure that out. Either way, I'm thrilled with all the finds.
