i keep getting hits off of aluminum even when i push the iliminate button, what am i doing wrong?

I don't think you can illuminate aluminum totally.

I don't know what machine you use or whether you're talking about large, small, medium, or canslaw pieces of aluminum. Even at the highest discrimination, my machines won't disc out an aluminum can. There's too many variables to ask a general question.

You may have sensitivity set to high. If sensitivity is high it can cause this.
