I found a Military WW2 dog tag this morning and was able to locate his grandson so it's in the mail. Very happy!

I googled his name and brought up a obituary for a family member with the same name. Just lucked out. I've found two more at this location that have not had any luck with so was happy the way this one turned out.

Digging them in a graveyard is not the same as finding them... lol

Where on earth have you been able to find three WWII dog tags?

Hunting a WW2 era AAF base. Found a 1943 map showing where the original barracks were located. Mostly gone now. Found some very interesting relics
there. Very satisfying being able to return those personal things.

I'm assuming the last name was Smith or Jones

But KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!!!! :clapping:[

I had to find someone last name smith in florida - I actually did and they were even listed under a wrong number and I still found them - miracle.

Quite clever of you, I might add, to figure out how to return the tags... :aok:
I'm sure that was totally appreciated.
