Archaeological find causes problems for road project

No old METAL DETECTING finds. A few stone tools are nothing to write home about though. They find this kind of stuff everywhere.

Oh I don't know.

I've only found one flint arrow head, eyes only when I was detecting. It is great to hold something that's around 3,000yrs old, and wonder who made it.

You can find arrow heads here like bottle caps at the park. I suppose you don't find many in the UK? It's hard not to find them around here.

Are these ones made by the native American Indians ?

I'm told they made arrow heads from all sorts of materials, apart from flint.
Glass, the ceramic insulators used on telegraph poles etc.
