I've had my ETRAC for most of this year and have many hours on it.

Most of my hunting this year has been with good wet soil...we had good rains up until this last month.

Now the ground is pretty hard and dry.

I've noticed that the numbers aren't as good with the ETRAC now...the tone is still there but the numbers aren't definitive like the used to be.

12-47 used to give me a consistent silver/quarter etc...

Anyone else experience this?

It can definently effect the numbers, I am running an explorer now and it will do the same, Do yourself a huge favor and stop looking at the numbers, I don't even look at my screen anymore unless im pinpointing. The screen can lie too often and theres so many things that come into play that you will miss good targets if you rely on the screen completely. Nothin wrong with looking at it just to check but don't let it decide wether or not you dig, use your ears
