How to ground balance Tesoro Vaquero?

I was told the following, just want to make sure......

Find clear area.
Put in all metal mode
Sensitivity to 8
Threshold to low buzz
Have coil raised and push to ground. Threshold should stay solid.

If it vanishes increase gb
If it squeals decrease gb

Pumping the coil like the at pro is incorrect.

Am I missing anything?
