Just saw these 2 up on a local selling page on facebook. What might they be worth? Probably a long shot to get them at a good price. But sometimes people might not know what they have. Updated and gave a price they want of $30. Is there any profit in them if I was to pick them up for resale or is that right on.

Any mintmark on the dollar? Anyways, Morgans always carry a premium over melt. I would go $25 on the pair.

I think $30 is a fair price for the 2 coins. If the Morgan has a CC on the back it's worth over $100 (if it's not buffed or cleaned )

the Morgan is worth $30 on its own hands down. franklin $13

I'm going to have to disagree too. Assuming the Morgan is not a CC, those are common years in circulated condition. While eBay prices are somewhat higher, those coins are not worth much more than melt prices.

I would say a good 20-25 bucks for both would be a good investment. At some point in time silver will rebound and that is when you sell them. It was only about 3 and a half years ago that silver was going for $50 an ounce.

If your goal is to buy and flip 18 bucks would be a good buy, and HOPE you might get 30 bucks total out of the deal.

Yes, the 1884 Morgan (not CC) is one of the more common ones, with over 14,000,000 minted. However, the Official Red Book lists its value at VF(very fine)-20 condition at $29 and this one looks closer to EF(extremely fine)-40. Of course, I can only go by the part of the coin that is visible in the pics. A blemish on the reverse could adversely affect the price.

Please see my post in the 1837 dime thread. Red Book prices mean nothing.
