i have a tesoro compadre and was thinking of getting a tejon and i have a few questions. how much more depth will i see out of the tejon? i mostly coin hunt and do alittle relic hunting, is there that much of a significant difference? Thanks, Valarie

It would be hard to say just how much more depth you would get, but I think it would be safe to say there would be a significant increase.

Definitely an increase. You mentioned that you are mostly a coin hunter. Did you consider the Vaquero? It runs at a lower frequency so it is geared more towards coins, but is also great with relics. The Tejon runs at a higher frequency that is more suitable for relic hunting. Just something to think about.

They are not in the same league. The Tejon should do about double under many circumstances as long as you adjust it properly. the Compadre is mostly preset and you are at the mercy of those settings.
