Hey guys.. I know its been a while but finally got out with WildDigger and Luke to detect for a few hours. Sure glad I went.. I ended up with a 7 coin spill! The days total I Ended up with 3 Silvers!! 3 Mercs, 1 buffalo Nickel, 10 wheats and from what I was told an 1800's Pistol Ball. Was a very exciting day for the 3 of us!

Merc dates 1916 no mint mark, 1920 no mint mark and a 1943
Buffalo is a 1915 but needs to be soaked to see the back side

WildDigger made a video of the days hunt/finds! Enjoy!

I never noticed it, until your close-up side-by-side pic of your mercs......It looks like Lady Liberty had some plastic surgery done to her facial features sometime between 1916 and 1943. Slight revamp of the coin design, or my imagination?

It was a good day indeed. Luke is heading back there. Rob is there now and scored a 1909 Barber dime.

Very nice group hunt. Seems all got into the goodies. Glad you made the Silver train for 2015. Congrats on the Merc's and Wheat's and also to see your posting again. Jack

Thanks everyone!!! Trying to get out there again asap!!!
