Awesome and remarkable set of finds.

Great Subject! I am fortunate to live in an area that offers multiple genres regarding detecting...From Big Water Gold to inland old silver, old Trade goods, arrowheads, float copper, all sorts of nice eyefinds, whatnot...Some hunts that pop to memory...

Best Clad day so far was $55 which included 2 silver rosies and one silver ring..
Best Big Water Gold so far was this 75gr 24k chain...
Best Eyefind on a hunt was this wad of $600...

I really enjoy clad/jewelry/eyehunting..easy and fast with simple tools and no real skill involved except hitting fast and hard....driving around early and drinking coffee, smoking, listening to the radio and picking up cans and having a great time!

I've been hunting for 7yrs....like they say, location and timing! So I can get up and go hunt whatever the weather situation and season dictates...

My 'Best Day' is yet to come! Of that I have no doubt! It will be a bag full of $100's that I spot in the ditch early on a morning on the way out to stab totlot pennies! There truly is NO OTHER SPORT that has such a fine payback as detecting! ...plus the heath aspects and the motivation of treasure hunting of course...

This was a pretty great hunt for me. They were doing a total re-landscaping job at a nearby high school. The doorknob at the end is probably my best relic find. I got it at a house demolition site this weekend!

Total Number of Gold Rings: Just found 2 soldered together last Monday. Which happened to be my wife's wedding set lost for about two years in the front yard. Should have save them to give them back to her for Christmas!

Total number of Silver Coins: 2 war nickels

Total number of Civil War finds: Found a couple of minie balls and a musket ball but can't say they are civil war related for sure!
