Lucky Penny?

My wife found this 1889 Indian Head Penny in the bottom of her purse one day while fishing for some change!

Anyone care to guess at the value?

Very nice! Red book has it at about $3 in good condition. Vg-$3.50, F-$5. Looks to me to be in Vg-F condition.

Just remember Red Book prices are average prices that dealers sell them for. If you sell it to a dealer, you will get less.

We'll probably keep that one in our tiny collection. We were just curious whether it had any value beyond face value or not.
