Hiya, for the remainder of August we will be staying at Alton and then Kannaraville in SW Utah.
I have bought my detector over from the Uk and would like to get out for a few hours detecting.
Anyone in that area who would be willing to take out a Brit/Limey whatever you want to call us

Would be nice to get out somewhere.

Hi wadders, how goes the travels? Have you had any luck finding people to hunt with?

I haven't had much luck this year finding locals to hunt with. I don't know if it is location or a general change in attitude on this forum.

Good luck in your travels and don't forget to shoot me a PM when you get to the Verde Valley. I don't think we will be back in the area by then, but I can give you some ideas on where to hunt.

Travels are going ok Thanks, detecting is null and void, I did detect in a park in Moab for about 15 minutes, but felt uncomfortable on my own there.
I would like to think if i was in the UK and someone wanted to go detecting from abroad, I'd happily take them out on one of my permissions. Look forward to getting to Verde Valley, I hope i am somewhere near where i can detect.

And here you got TWO offers, just not in the area you are. I stand by mine and I am sure so does rreahard. In fact, there's plenty of us on here that would happily take you out hunting. Have you tried posting on any other forums? Looked for groups on Facebook for that area?

LOL, and i appreciate those offers, but it will be several years before we do another loop of your massive country. . no i have not tried those facebook pages as yet, i shall do it now. Thanks for the offers guys, who knows i may see you sometime
