Me and my diggin buddy hit my Mother's yard again this morning. Detected about an hour this time.
Found 5 wheats within a 10' square of the front porch. The rest of the pennies and and the newer dime were scartered around the right side of the house. The gas stove key was almost 7" deep. The old razor blade was near the side door at about 3" deep, and the nail was with one of the wheat pennies. (The pair of feet in the first picture were dug out of my bedroom.....)
My best find was the 1944D Merc dime. I found it about 3 feet from where I found the 1883 V Nickel yesterday. Almost thought it was a penny at first. It rang up as a 36 to 39 signal on my 505. It was solid like that in all directions I swung the coil. The dime was about 7" deep. My diggin buddy says, "Lookie there!!!!!" I do another happy dance on my crutches!!!!!
All in all, a fun morning.....
