Haha! Remind me which years this variety was minted....Alright, that was a little misleading. But it is two cents.Someday it will be another silver, keep checking.
I know, right? Occasionally, when searching through coin rolls, I'll come across one of those exceptionally gross-looking coins covered with an unknown substance that's best described as "yuck". I usually exclaim to my brother Wolfie, "I can't believe I just touched that!"

Me too, I grabbed and pocketed a handful of coins from the machine on my way out of the grocery store one day and realized my hand was gooey!
Freaked me out wondering what that goo was until I got to my car. Luckily I keep some hand cleaner and paper towels in my car so I was able to de-goo quickly!

The last two-cent peice I found was a flying eagle and Indian head stuck back to back, buried in the turf of a county lakeshore park.
