I snuck out this morning knowing I might get wet... as soon as I get to the spot it starts to rain but I was dressed for it :) Hunt started off with the familiar bullets then the shield and a few minutes later the old ring... its marked 14k in old block style but has a little mark or symbol inside the block... its 8.1 grams... I'm pretty sure its a wax impression ring as I did a impression using my playdoh  It can also be a family crest ring.. but I will never sell this for melt... the ring was a whisper, a repeatable silent area in the threshold.. when I flipped to disc I heard nothing at all... those skullies have really impressed me :D

Awesome oldie Craig. I'd like to see it cleaned up as in, " new condition ".
