New to the hobby, Living in Alexandria, originally from Massachusetts, VA...lookin for old coins mainly. Lookin for people to meet up and hunt with. I will travel a couple hours or more for a good day of detecting. Thanks!

Ok, I am just a regular husband. But I would like to do some detecting with others too. I have been in contact with a another member, if we come to a conclusion about a good place to detect, I will let you know, maybe we can all meet up there. Thanks for the reply.

Hi, I have a Garrett Infinuim LS and have just started detecting. Fould some coins (new) and trash on a Florida trip. I have looked just a little in Va. I just joined a club to look for gold (nuggets LOL) near Appomattox. I am back to Florida on Vacation in a couple of days and may try the beach again.

I'm in Woodbridge and just starting to get into hunting. I have a discovery 2 I found at a garage sale brand new in the box for $5. I've been messing around the house with it and found some bottle caps, nails, etc. Just a week ago I bought my Dad a compadre for his retirement gift and he loves it so I may pick up one of those. I don't really know where to go around here. I moved to the area about 3 years ago. Would love to meet up with some experienced hunters and try to learn a thing or two.

I live out in Loudoun County...always up for detecting. Although finding some good places in the immediate vicinity is almost impossible due to restrictions...I do my best to find a school yard, old house, empty field and private property (with permission) to hunt. Interested let me know. Tom

Brian here in Fredericksburg selfemployed and can get out usually when I want been looking for others to dig with but no luck yet.
