We have Cyclone Oma currently hovering out from the Queensland coast, so it was definitely worth a look.
Still plenty of sand about although did find a patch of exposed pebbles right on low tide.

After two hours and not many targets, I got fed up & decided to leave. Saw one more spot I had missed right up near the rocks .. bang 2 rings within a few minutes. Now I'm feeling much better!

The large silver pendant was from yesterdays hunt!

Only 5 gold this year so far .. last year same time I was at 16 gold!
