I was wondering, has anyone had the chance to use the 13" Detech Ultimate DD search coil? I hear some good things about it but would appreciate any feed back anyone might have.

Weighs less than the 12" and separates well for a big coil. No complaints.

I have one for my V3i, and it's a very sensitive coil. It covers a lot of ground and is easy to pinpoint with. Since it is light weight, it balances very well on the V, and it separates well for its size. I do not use it in trashy areas due to masking, but overall, I like it. It is susceptible to EMI if you are around power lines, but I believe that is because of its size.

Have one one each my V3i & Etrac, and keep them on nearly all the time. Super light weight and awesome separation. I would recommend, as a mater of fact, if I were to get another detector, I would try to get another U13 for it.
