I haven't been dirt fishing for a month so I decided to hit the beach for a couple of hours last Sunday. I hit up two places in Newport Beach, among the handful of clad was a chrome dog's tag. It looked brand new and had the dogs name and owner contact address and phone number. The dog and owner lived in Maryland, long way from California. I called the owner and explained where and how I found it and offered to mail it back to her. She was very surprised and grateful, she said she lost it when they were staying at Newport Dunes while they were visiting their son back in February. I'm happy to say the dogs tag is in the mail on the way back to Sampson the Yorkshire terrier.
