I posted about my find yesterday, a 14k ring at a baseball diamond in a park. My first gold!

It got me so excited, I called in sick to work today and went to a different park that I had partially hit before. Staying near the sidelines of the soccer fields, I scored this gold bracelet! It says 10k and a man's name and it is heavy. I also found this knife, think it's some kind of throwing knife.

First gold yesterday, second gold today! Haven't found silver yet, so maybe I'll call in sick tomorrow...just kidding!

Just sold the bracelet to my neighbor who is a "jeweler". He offered me $10 per gram for 10k. It weighed in at 26.4 grams. It's already a done deal, but was it a good deal for me? Either way, I am pleased.
 
Lol, you called in sick? Looks like a beautiful day and the best sort of day to use sick hours! Congratz on the gold! I've been sick lately (bad allergies) and going to work so I can use them on days like that!
 
Congratulations on two gold finds in as many days. Todays rate for 10k is 16.79 per gram. Of course what you get from someone is whatever they are willing to pay. Next time you might want to get a few offers before you accept one. Still a nice days results for detecting.:yes:

Totally called in sick! If it makes you feel better, my allergies kicked my butt out there. Sneezing and rockets left and right. Sick days should be reserved for days like today.
 
Thanks Rich and Ice for the value info. Considering this sale came to me (my neighbor, the "jeweler", saw me unload and asked what I found) I think I did ok. He's got to make some money too and I am scared to mail anything. Cash in my face is good.
 
Wow, some great finds. Oh, you know what they say about using a "sick day"? It's a shame to waste them when you're sick. Enjoy another day off...just tell them you have a Gold Fever!
