Love finding civil war era coat buttons

If you didn’t know that button with a D on it is a dragoon button. It’s actually at the very top of my bucket list for hunting military sites in Kansas. Congrats!

Since you found two, how about sending that "D" button to me. In 30+ years I have never found one of those. Sometimes you guys sure make me jealous. :( Needless to say, I like your button.

Hope you find one soon I didn’t know what it was I handed it to my friend Deb and she finger wiped it and said dragoon and my brothers head snapped over
