Hunted a couple more curb strips this morning. Dug a lot of pennies; 4 were wheats; oldest 1917. Was getting a little clad, a couple modern keys, and junk. On the last few yards before calling it a day, I got a dime signal at 5 inches. I wasn't too hopeful; I already dug a couple 5 inch deep clad dimes today. This one came out with a little shine to it, I could see through the dirt! Silver dime! But wait...it looks foreign. It wasn't until I washed it at home, I could determine it is a 1920 Canadian dime. This one brings my silver coin count to 8 fty. :D

Congrats on the old Canadian silver and the rest of the digs!
Thanks Cap'n! This dime makes a nice addition to my small but growing collection

Awesome find!
For some reason I love those older teens and twenties Canadian coins:D
Thank you! I especially like the reverse side design. Simple and old-timey looking.

Looks like all the good Canadian coins are down in the States! Haha.
Nice finds.
Thanks GR! I remember as a kid in the 70s, seeing Canadian money brought back as souvenirs. Folks must have done that long before the 70s.
