I stopped in my local coffee shop on my way to work. We go there twice a day so they all know us, (my wife and I), by name. After paying for my coffee and the wife's iced tea I received my change and heard that distinct ring of a silver coin. I looked and sure enough a 64 quarter :grin:. I asked the cashier if she had any more and she said "oh yeah some guy just bought his sandwich with a bunch of them". after all was said and done I got 16 quarters 61-64 :shock:. I didn't even have to dig :laughing:. It was a great way to start the day.

Wow! What a great story. Hopefully the guy will come back and pay like that again and the waitress will hold them for you.
 
great find - beats coinstar

they don't seem to reject silver qtrs for me, just silver dimes.

I have heard liquor stores get silver when someone runs out of money and needs that drink and hits the old coffee can of old coins.
