Hi all !

I'm trying to remember the name of the guy and his thread relating to the above title. His name might have been Dave, not sure. Can anyone help ?

Thanks !

This is a picture of the item in question. Still not positive if this was what you were talking about but I remember seeing it for the first time and researching them a little bit.

Unidentified Octagon-shaped Game pieces found in park years ago.

Hey Everybody, I found it in my Treasure Net folder !

It was originally a thread started by piggman1, his Post titled FOUND IN A FOOTBALL FIELD...WHAT ARE THEY?, dated
6-14-07!? on Treasure Net and then copied to Friendly Metal Detecting Forums on 6-16-2007.

For those who are long-time members of Friendly Metal Detecting Forums and would like to reminisce, or curious Newbies, I just thought you might like to browse these Links.

The thread was "Bumped" on T'Net Oct 18, 2009, 12:45 PM by PBK, per Link #2 below and finally acknowledged solved by piggman1 on the Link #3 below. After you get there, it appears the mystery was utimately solved by Goodyguy a member on T'Net. I clicked the hyperlink in his post #1249, but the little X boxes on the NAVER Photo Viewer wouldn't open for me to show pictures. However, they might work for you. Anyway, Scroll on down to the bottom to see piggman's last post acknowledging the mystery was solved.

Here are some Links listed in sequence that will give you a look at the "mystery" game pieces that took one of the longest times to solve, 3 years, 5 months and 6 days (6-14-2007 to Dec. 19, 2010), according to this date converter Link: http://www.easysurf.cc/ndate3.htm and it was finally acknowledged as solved by piggman1 on the Link at #3 below. These were not spin-tops at all; just little game pieces that were tossed.
