Been hitting the 'lake' near me, the water's receding (reservoir) as it does yearly about this time. I've been walking it out as the water goes... have found gold and silver before here, but it's been awhile for the gold. I will keep trying!
Today, lunch hunt, muck boots and mucky mud that wants to suck your boot down into the abyss....
Got a really nice high tone, figured a quarter but got a hint of the bottom of a ring in the mucky mud, pulled it out and saw a cool silver Celtic knot (?) ring.
It's marked PSCL(C) 925. Found an exact one online labeled Peter Stone "vintage" fwiw.
Too small for my wife, so it'll just sit in the pile.
Going to keep going back looking for GOLD. Lotta lead at this spot so not easy.
